Ernest "Ben" Sparkowich is my younger brother by two years. Growing up, he had always been very heavy - when he graduated High School he was around 350 pounds. In January of 2012, he decided to join the Army Reserve, and lost 100 pounds on his own before he went to Basic Training. He's now down to a much healthier 220, and I couldn't be prouder. He is my role model, because he set his mind to do something, and did it. He didn't let any set backs depress him.
